Redmond Neighborhood Resource Council presents workshops for seniors and their adult children

The Redmond Neighborhood Resource Council will present an educational workshop series for seniors and their adult children at the Redmond Senior Center, 8703 160th Ave. NE in downtown Redmond. Professionals will share their knowledge on nine topics over the course of three workshops.

The schedule and topics are as follows:

• 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14: Veterans Administration Aid and Attendance; Communicating with Doctors and Transitioning with Medications; Upcoming Estate Planning Law Changes

• 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12: Social Security 101; Home Care and Care Transition Options; Day Health Programs and Short-Term Housing Options

• 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9: Elder Law Basics, How to Downsize; Caregivers Taking Care of Themselves
