Redmond High School (RHS) sophomore Jonathan Qu won second place in the Senior Piano Division of the Washington State Music Teachers Association (WSMTA) Outstanding Artist competition.

His performance program included Bach’s “Prelude and Fugue in C# minor,” Beethoven’s “Sonata no. 11” and Ginastera’s “Suite de Danzas Criollos.” For more information, visit wsmta.net.
