Redmond High students advance to state DECA conference

Nearly 800 marketing students from the Lake Washington, Northshore and Riverview School Districts, as well as a new chapter from Eastside Catholic School, competed at the DECA Area Conference last month. The following Redmond High School students will advance to the DECA State Conference, to be held March 4-6 at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue:

• Kevin Light, Sports Individual, second role play #2; fifth place overall

• Bri Dankberg, Sports Individual, second place test; third overall

• Paul Cretu, Accounting, third place test; second place role play #1; third place overall

• Kim Kruse, Business Services, second place test; first place role play #1; second place role play #2; first place overall

• Alex Churchill-Moulder, Restaurant & Food Services, second place test

• Tom Cote, Sports Team, second place test

• Joe Junor, Sports Team, third place test

• Netania Boentaram, Hospitality Team, third place test

• Kate Garland & Joe Costello, Financial Team, third place role play; third place overall
