For the second straight year, Redmond Eye Doctors will be accepting donations of non-perishable items this holiday season and those who donate will have a chance to win a pair of designer sunglasses.

Donations will be accepted through the end of December at the eye clinic, located at 16375 Northeast 85th Street. People who donate will be entered in a raffle, which will feature a pair of elegant designer sunglasses as the grand prize. A $50 gift certificate will be given away for second place and a $25 gift certificate for third place, to be used at Redmond Eye Doctors.

Dr. Rania Montecillo’s children will draw the winners, who will be contacted by phone during the week of Jan. 10.

In addition, as part of Diabetes Awareness Month in November, the eye clinic is continuing to offer free eye exams to children with diabetes whose parents are unable to afford an eye exam.
