On May 27, Redmond Nia dance instructors Pauline Osborne of Dance Works and Susan Creighton of Health Within and their students will be joining NiaSeattle at its annual Spring Jam event at Om Culture, located at 2210 N. Pacific St. in Seattle.

The event will celebrate Nia dance founder Isadora Duncan’s 135th birthday.

In addition to Osborne and Creighton, Gretchen Musgrove, certified Nia instructor and jam organizer, has recruited seven other Nia instructors from around the Puget Sound to teach in the jam. Together they will encourage people to experience Nia — where movement, music and magic meet to create healthy bodies and minds.

The Spring Jam event is $20 at the door and all proceeds will benefit NiaSeattle to ensure that people can easily access and find Nia classes and teachers in the area. For more information on the event, contact Musgrove at (206) 718-0893 or gretchen@niaseattle.com.

All fitness levels are invited.
