On May 26, more than 600 residents from Puget Sound-area Aegis Living communities — including in Redmond — gathered at the Lynnwood Convention Center for Cirque du Aegis.
The event was a different way to entertain and engage those living with dementias such as Alzheimer’s disease in a controlled environment.
More than 500 people in the audience were living with some form of dementia. The free event, sponsored by Aegis Living, featured musicians, jugglers, acrobats, aerialists, magicians and contortionists in the Cirque du Soleil style.
