The Redmond High School Knowledge Bowl Team “Why Not Zoidberg?” placed fifth at the 4A state tournament for the second year in a row.

The team included Maya Balakrishnan, Tara Balakrishnan, Jihoon Lee, Nolan Miller, Hiram Munn and Ashwin Raghuraman.

In matches against teams such as Garfield and Bellarmine Prep, they battled their way to the championship rounds, where they ultimately lost to Kamiak by one point in triple overtime.
