Flash crash: A man reported that a male driver became angry over a traffic incident in the 17600 block of Redmond Way and then he decided to throw a flashlight at the man’s vehicle, causing damage.

Sibling rivalry: Redmond police responded to a domestic violence call at an apartment complex in the 8300 block of 167th Avenue Northeast.

A brother had reportedly thrown items at his younger sister.

Monday, Dec. 15

On the run: Somebody stole clothing from a store in the 16500 block of Northeast 74th Street and ran away.

Fake money: Unknown suspects purchased $920 worth of furniture and wine with counterfeit bills at a business in the 7200 block of 170th Avenue Northeast.

Sunday, Dec. 14

K-9 assist: Bellevue Police requested help from the Redmond K-9 unit in the 2400 block of West Lake Sammamish Southeast.

The K-9 unit tracked down a suspect who fled after trying to steal truck.

The K-9 unit found the suspect hiding in another truck. The suspect was arrested and charges are pending.

Saturday, Dec. 13

Theft: Somebody smashed the driver’s side window of a vehicle parked in the 7900 block of 178th Place Northeast and then stole a purse off the floorboard.

The victim had her temporary driver’s license, credit cards, checkbook and digital camera in her purse.

Friday, Dec. 12

Weapon possession: A Redmond Police School Resource officer working at Redmond Junior High contacted several suspicious student from another junior high on campus.

One of the students had knife in his possession and no identification. The student was taken to the Redmond Police Department to contact his parents.

Thursday, Dec. 11

Burglary: Somebody broke into a house in the 17600 block of Northeast 110th Way in the middle of the night and stole several items while the family was upstairs sleeping.
