Sunday, May 13

Lost and found iPod: Redmond police investigated a possession of stolen property in the 10300 block of 177th Avenue Northeast of Education Hill at 6:33 p.m., when a stolen iPod was located in the suspect’s pocket.

Phone threats: Redmond police responded to a threats report at 5:26 p.m. from a business in the 17200 block of Redmond Way downtown. There was no crime that occurred.

Theft: A purse was reported stolen in the 15900 block of Northeast 85th Street downtown at 2:35 p.m. There is no suspect information.

Mischief: At 1:21 p.m., Redmond police responded to a disturbance at a store in the 17200 block of Redmond Way downtown. The suspect was arrested.

Saturday, May 12

No permit: At 8 p.m., Redmond police responded to a reported solicitor without a permit in the 11400 block of 160th Court Northeast of Education Hill. The suspect arrested for failure to have a peddler permit.

Suspicious circumstance: At 7:05 p.m., Redmond police responded to a reported dumpster fire in the 11400 block of Avondale Road of Education Hill. The fire appeared to be started by a discarded cigarette.

Fire: Redmond police responded to a fire at 4:30 p.m. at a transient campsite in Overlake.

Mischief: At 11:05 a.m., a victim in the 8700 block of 164th Avenue Northeast of Education Hill reported the back window on her parked vehicle was smashed sometime during the night. Nobody witnessed the incident and the locked vehicle was not entered.

Friday, May 11

DUI: A male was arrested at 9:28 p.m. for driving under the influence after being stopped for committing traffic violations in the 12800 block of Northeast 70th Street.

Obstructing: Redmond police arrested a woman at 8:33 p.m. for obstructing, while investigating a reported domestic disturbance in the 9100 block of 182nd Avenue Northeast of Education Hill.

Forgery: Redmond police responded to a reported prescription forgery at 1:11 p.m. at a business in the 14800 block of Northeast 24th Street in Overlake.

Arson: Redmond police responded to a reported arson at 11:36 a.m. at a residence in the 3100 block of 181st Avenue Northeast of Overlake. Police spokesperson Jim Bove said a resident reported that a garbage can full of leaves had been set on fire at approximately 4 a.m. The only damage was to the trash bin itself. Bove said there is no suspect information at this time.
