Theft: Somebody stole a safe from a business in the 7300 block of 164th Avenue Northeast. There are no suspects at this time.

Theft: Somebody stole a safe from a business in the 7300 block of 164th Avenue Northeast. There are no suspects at this time.

Purse snatcher: A woman reported that her purse, which contained credit cards an a check book, was stolen out of her unlocked car, which was parked in the 3000 block of 172nd Avenue.

Missing person: A woman who lives in the 3900 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway reported her mentally disabled husband was missing. He was released from King County Jail on the morning of Dec. 22 and did not return home.

Sunday, Dec. 21

Failed robbery: Police responded to a possible robbery call at store in the 16200 block of Redmond Way at around 7 p.m. After investigating the scene, police learned that a man had just tried to rob the store, but ran away before taking any money.

Saturday, Dec. 20

Car prowls: There were three different car prowl incidents in the span of an hour late at night in the 16000 block of Northeast 85th Street. In all three incidents, the car prowler broke the vehicle’s window and stole valuable items from inside the vehicle.

Friday, Dec. 19

Shoplifting: A man took an item at a department store in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue and then left without paying.

Thursday, Dec. 18

Assault: Officers responded to a 9-1-1 hang up at an apartment complex in the 3900 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway. Officers learned that the husband had assaulted his wife. The husband was then arrested for assault.

Vandalism: Officer responded to a call reporting a smashed window at a bank in the 8200 block of 164th Avenue Northeast. There were no suspects on the scene when officers arrived.

Wednesday, Dec. 17

Inside job: An employee of a store in the 17600 block of Northeast 76th Street was arrested for theft.

The Grinch strikes: Somebody entered an unlocked vehicle in the 3300 block of 179th Avenue Northeast and stole a card and a bottle of wine.
