Tuesday, March 17

Wrong way: Police arrested a man for driving under the influence of alcohol after he was seen driving the wrong way on a one-way road in the 16500 block of Cleveland Street.

Break-in: A suspect smashed the rear sliding glass door of a residence in the 3800 block of 167th Place Northeast and stole a digital camera, Xbox and several video games.

Monday, March 16

Headed to jail: Police arrested a prowler at a residence in the 11700 block of 175th Place Northeast a little after 11 p.m. The man was transported to King County Jail.

Mail theft: A woman who lives in the 7600 block of 151st Avenue Northeast reported that she believed that someone took mail out of her mailbox.

Burlgary: A man arrived home from a trip to Portland late at night to find several pieces of artwork missing from his apartment in the 8500 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.

Sunday, March 15

Trouble brewing: Police responded to unknown trouble at an apartment in the 6200 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway. A man assaulted his wife and their daughter called police. The man was arrested.

Shoplifting: Police arrested a woman for shoplifting at a store in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.

Saturday, March 14

Stolen car: A woman left her vehicle unattended with the key in the ignition and doors unlocked in her apartment complex carport in the 18600 block of Redmond Way. She left the vehicle running for a few minutes while she went into her apartment to get her children. When she returned a few moments later, the vehicle was missing.

Purse snatcher: There were two different purse thefts during the noon hour. The first one happened in the 17100 block of Redmond Way, where the suspect went into an employee lounge area and stole a purse. A similar incident occurred in the 7200 block of 170th Avenue Northeast minutes later when a suspect went into an employee lounge area and took a purse.

Hot tool: A man bought a tool on Craig’s List, but turned the tool into police when he discovered the serial number was ground off.

Friday, March 13

Jewelry thief: The director of an assisted living center in the 7400 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway reporter a theft of a resident’s jewelry, which was taken from a locked drawer.
