Wednesday, July 8

Too young to drink: Redmond Police responded to the Sammamish River Trail at Leary Way in reference to a malicious mischief call. The police found no damage to any property, but did find two underage boys drinking beer. They were arrested and later released.

Get out of my home: Redmond Police investigated a report of a burglary in the 17000 block of Northeast 101st Place. Dispatch reported that the home owner chased the suspect out the residence. Police searched the area, but no suspects were located.

Window smashed: The rear window of a car was smashed overnight in the 13300 block of Northeast 97th Street.

Tuesday, July 7

Caught with cologne: A man was arrested after he stole some cologne and tried to run out of a department store in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.

Assault: A man who lives in the 8300 block of 167th Avenue Northeast was arrested for assaulting his girlfriend.

Lock your car: A vehicle was left unlocked in the 7200 blcok of 148th Place Northeast and an unknown suspect stole money, compact discs and gift cards from the vehicle.

Theft: Somebody broke into a car in the 6200 block of 152nd Avenue Northeast and stole several passports and green cards.

Monday, July 6

Put on some clothes: A woman who was walking her dog noticed a naked Hispanic man in his 20s or 30s at about 5 p.m. near one of the trails in southwest corner of Grasslawn Park. The Hispanic man did not say anything or have any contact with her, according to Jim Bove, Redmond Police Department spokesperson. She was unable to identify the naked man because she only got a quick glance of the man before she ran out of the wooded area. Police officers searched the area, but could not find the man.

Minor in possession: Redmond Police arrested two females in the 8300 block of 164th Avenue Northeast for minor in possession and minor in consumption. One of the females was in possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sunday, July 5

Stolen cell: A Bellevue resident reported that his cellular phone was stolen from a park in the 3600 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway.

Saturday, July 4

No-fun fireworks: A man who lives in the 17700 block of Northeast 26th Street reported that a firework landed on the hood of his vehicle, causing damage.

Friday, July 3

Theft: A pair of shoes was stolen from a business in the 6500 block of 174th Avenue Northeast.

Thursday, July 2

Bad bill: A resident who lives in the 8500 block of Willows Road reported the fraudulent use of his Social Security number and name after he received a bill from the Internal Revenue Service for more than $11,000.

Bad words: A city worker reported that someone engraved some “derogatory language” on a city building in the 15500 block of Northeast 90th Street, according to the police report.
