Sixty-six seniors graduated from The Overlake School in Redmond on June 9 at the school. The seniors chose as their speakers students Michael Mangione (pictured at right), Sarah Silverman and teacher/coach Bob Bristol.
The combined chamber and concert choirs sang John Hiatt’s “Have a Little Faith In Me,” and the chamber choir sang Phil Collins’ “You’ll Be In My Heart.” Associated Student Body President Elliott Harris presented the Class of 2013’s gift to the school, a framed photo of the class. Colleges awarded to the class as a whole a total of more than $6.1 million in scholarships.
