Burglary: Redmond police took a residential-burglary report at 1:47 p.m. in the 4800 block of 156th Avenue Northeast. Officers responded to a burglary of an apartment that was being packed up for moving. Someone stole a vacuum cleaner and a floor lamp.
Monday, Sept. 26
Shoplifting: Redmond police arrested two females for shoplifting at 10:21 a.m. at a store in the 17200 block of Redmond Way.
Sunday, Sept. 25
Assault: Redmond police took an assault report at 11:51 p.m. outside a store in the 17600 block of Northeast 76th Street. A man and woman reported they had just married that day and the adult son and his new stepfather had an altercation.
Saturday, Sept. 24
DUI: Redmond police took a DUI report at 11:53 p.m. in the 15800 block of Redmond Way. An officer pulled a vehicle over for driving erratically. As the officer approached the vehicle, the driver thrust his arm out the window, with the car keys in his hand. He was arrested for DUI.
Friday, Sept. 23
Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft of a motor vehicle at 11:32 p.m. in the 14800 block of Northeast 24th Street. Someone stole a Honda Accord from the parking lot of a restaurant while the employee was working.
Thursday, Sept. 22
Forgery: Redmond police took a forgery report at 10:50 a.m. in the 18100 block of Northeast 95th Street. A resident who had recently moved reported that someone else signed and cashed her refund Puget Sound Energy check.
Wednesday, Sept. 21
Trespassing: Redmond police took a trespassing report at 1:34 p.m. in the 9000 block of Willows Road. Officers responded to a gas station and trespassed a woman from the property. She had been previously trespassed from the store, but returned and continued to create a disturbance. While talking with her, she continued to scream at officers, calling them names. She eventually left the property.
