Tuesday, Aug. 13

Hit and run: A report was taken at 11:06 p.m. for a hit and run in the 10200 block of Willows Road in Grass Lawn.

Burglary: At 10:40 p.m., a resident in the 4800 block of 156th Avenue Northeast in Overlake stepped out of his bedroom to make dinner and returned 30 minutes later to find his laptop and cell phone taken through his open bedroom window.

Shoplifting: A grocery store in the 15000 block of Northeast 24th Street in Overlake reported an unknown male walked out with a cart full of unpaid groceries at 9:44 p.m.

Vandalism: At 2:40 p.m., Redmond police responded to a residence in the 14700 block of Northeast 76th Street in Grass Lawn that was vandalized inside.

Illegal dumping: At 9:05 a.m., an officer investigated a case of illegal dumping after items, including hazardous materials, were found discarded in a business parking garage in the 16500 block of Northeast 74th Street downtown. Security camera footage captured the suspect vehicle and an investigation is ongoing.

Missing person: A male was listed and missing endangered at 9:02 a.m.
