Attempted theft: Redmond police took a report of an attempted theft from a motor vehicle at 10:45 p.m. in the 7400 block of Old Redmond Road.
Assault: Redmond police responded to the report of an assault at 6:02 p.m. in the 7900 block of Willows Road. The incident had occurred the night before. An 83-year-old male told someone at his residence that his 58-year-old male caretaker had hit and scratched him; the caretaker denied assaulting the 83-year-old and said there had been a scuffle between the two of them when the caretaker brought the resident to his home. The reporting party, who works at the residency, told police the resident was taken to Overlake Hospital for behavior-related issues.
Fraud: Redmond police took two fraud reports at 5:20 p.m. in the 15200 block of Northeast 73rd Street and at 10:03 a.m. in the 17000 block of Redmond Way.
Monday, Jan. 12
DUI: Redmond police took a DUI report at 7:39 p.m. in the 15000 block of Northeast 24th Street.
Fraud: Redmond police took a fraud report at 5:30 p.m. in the 17600 block of Northeast 70th Street.
You’ve got no mail: Redmond police took a mail-theft report at 2:38 p.m. in the 10800 block of 157th Avenue Northeast.
Shoplifting: Redmond police took a shoplifting report at 1:29 p.m. in the 17200 block of Redmond Way.
Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle at 12:45 p.m. in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.
Burglary: Redmond police took a non-residential-burglary report at 7:29 a.m. in the 14500 block of Northeast 87th Street.

Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle at 6:23 p.m. in the 17600 block of Union Hill Road.
Shoplifting: Redmond police took a shoplifting report at 4:32 p.m. in the 17100 block of Redmond Way.
ID theft: Redmond police took an identity theft report at 1:40 p.m. in the 2700 block of 185th Avenue Northeast.
Saturday, Jan. 10
Shoplifting: Redmond police took a shoplifting report at 12:27 p.m. in the 17200 block of Redmond Way.
Traffic collision: Redmond police investigated a non-injury traffic collision at 9:57 a.m. in the 9900 block of Willows Road.
Hit-and-run: Redmond police investigated a non-injury hit-and-run at 7:35 a.m. at the intersection of 148th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 31st Street. Police also took a DUI report at the scene.
Found it: An outside law-enforcement agency recovered a stolen vehicle at 1:11 a.m. in the 17200 block of Northeast 104th Street.
