Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle at 7:54 a.m. in the 18300 block of Redmond Way. Unknown suspect(s) cut through two metal bars/hinges on a trailer and stole a leaf blower and two paint sprayers.

Monday, May 16

You’ve got no mail: Redmond police took a mail-theft report of vehicle tabs and a camera at 1:27 p.m. in the 15600 block of Northeast 100th Way. There were no signs of forced entry into the locked box.

Burglary: Redmond police took a residential-burglary report at 11:44 a.m. in the 10400 block of 181st Avenue Northeast. Suspect(s) broke the lock on a rear sliding glass door and stole several items, including two televisions, a pressure washer and electronics.

Shoplifting: Redmond police arrested a shoplifter at 8:18 p.m. in the 17700 block of Northeast 76th Street. The person fled from another store after attempting to steal a printer.

Arson: Redmond police and fire members responded to a small fire at an abandoned building at 5:04 p.m. in the 8400 block of 164th Avenue Northeast.

Embezzlement: Redmond police took an embezzlement report at 11:41 a.m. in the 17700 block of Northeast 76th Street. Officers arrested an adult employee for theft from an employer.

Friday, May 13

Forgery: Redmond police took a forgery report at 6:07 p.m. in the 2400 block of 148th Avenue Northeast. An unknown suspect attempted to cash a fraudulent check at a bank.

Thursday, May 12

Assault: Redmond police took an assault report at 2:06 p.m. in the 17500 block of Northeast 67th Court. Officers arrested a transient man known to facility staff after he became agitated and struck someone in the face.

Assault: Redmond police took an assault report at 3:58 a.m. in the 2900 block of 152nd Avenue Northeast. Police and fire members assisted when an elderly male with dementia struck a caregiver in the face.

Controlled substance: Redmond police took a controlled-substance-possession report at 8:49 p.m. in the 18000 block of Union Hill Road. Officers were asked to seize a large package of marijuana from a business.

Theft: Redmond police took a stolen-purse report at 6:03 p.m. in the 11800 block of Willows Road.
