Officer chases felony harassment suspect, makes arrest | Police blotter for July 24-28

Tuesday, July 28 Chased down, arrested: During the afternoon, a Redmond police officer located a felony harassment suspect out of Seattle, engaged in a foot chase, caught the suspect and made an arrest near Target in the 17000 block of Northeast 76th Street. The suspect was turned over to the Seattle Police Department.

Monday, July 27

Fraud: Redmond police responded to a fraud report at 9:05 p.m. in the 19300 block of Northeast 65th Way. The victim reported a pre-paid-card issue and possible fraud.

Burglary: Redmond police responded to a residential-burglary report at 4:50 p.m. in the 9000 block of Avondale Road. Someone likely entered through an unlocked window.

Trespassing: Redmond police responded to a trespassing report at 2:58 p.m. in the 15900 block of Northeast 98th Street. The resident reported the suspect trespassing on private property.

Sunday, July 26

Theft: Redmond police responded to a theft report at 8 p.m. in the 18000 block of Redmond Way. A bag of personal belongings was reported stolen outside of the business.

Shoplifting: Redmond police responded to a shoplifting report at 1:27 p.m. in the 16100 block of Northeast 87th Street. Several baseball gloves were reported stolen.

Trespassing: Redmond police responded to an alarm and an arrest was made for trespassing at 6:28 p.m. in the 8300 block of 160th Avenue Northeast.

Theft: Redmond police responded to a theft report at 12:39 p.m. in the 2000 block of 148th Avenue Northeast. A backpack was reported stolen from inside the business.

Friday, July 24

Burglary: Redmond police responded to a residential-burglary report at 6:23 p.m. in the 9000 block of Avondale Road. The front door to an apartment was damaged and jewelry and electronics were taken.

Shoplifting: Redmond police arrested two juveniles for shoplifting alcohol at 4:24 p.m. at a business in the 17200 block of Redmond Way.
