Novelty Hill Family Dentistry, 22500 NE Marketplace Dr., Suite 201 in Redmond, is collecting oral hygiene supplies and training volunteers from The Overlake School in Redmond to go on another service trip to its sister school in the remote town of Pailin, Cambodia.
In 2008, through the generous donation of toothbrushes, toothpaste, teeth models and time, volunteers from The Overlake School were able to distribute the materials to approximately 400 individuals in Pailin. Through workshops at the school, instructions were given on brushing techniques and the importance of practicing good oral hygiene.
“It is our belief that good oral health plays a crucial role in maintaining good overall health. Therefore, we will continue to do our part in giving these children a chance for a better future,” said Dr. Tony Sieu of Novelty Hill Family Dentistry.
The team from Overlake will leave April 3 for their 10-day trip to Pailin.
If you would like to help a child in Cambodia to smile brighter, contact Kris Sieu at (425) 868-6600 about donating to this cause.
