Novelist and screenwriter Semple to speak at Overlake School on Wednesday

The lecture is free and open to the public, and caps The Overlake School's annual Writers' Symposium, which brings nationally and internationally-renowned authors to the school.

A former writer for television shows such as “Ellen,” “Mad About You” and “Arrested Development,” Semple begins her funny and satirical book in Seattle. She will sign books after the lecture.
