Mother pleads not guilty to second-degree murder charge in young son’s death

A 36-year-old mother who was charged with second-degree murder of her 16-month-old son pleaded not guilty at her arraignment on June 22, according to the King County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.

A 36-year-old mother who was charged with second-degree murder of her 16-month-old son pleaded not guilty at her arraignment on June 22, according to the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

A case setting hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. Aug. 1 in courtroom 1201 of the King County courthouse in Seattle.

According to court documents, King County Sheriff deputies arrested Tami Annett Christianson at her parents’ home near Redmond on June 4 for investigation of the murder of her son. She was charged on June 8 and is being held in King County Jail in Seattle on $1 million bail.
