Assault: Redmond police took an assault report at 9:54 a.m. in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast. Officers received a report from an employee who was dealing with an uncomfortable situation while at work.
DUI: Redmond police arrested a female for DUI at 2:19 a.m. at the intersection of Cleveland Street and 166th Avenue Northeast. She was booked into jail.
Monday, March 28
Found it: Redmond police recovered a stolen vehicle at 12:15 p.m. in the 17500 block of Northeast 88th Place. The vehicle was located a few blocks away from the owner’s address with a broken door lock and stolen plates attached.
Sunday, March 27
Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle at 3:59 p.m. in the 2500 block of 152nd Avenue Northeast. The driver’s window was broken and an Ipod and charger were stolen.
Saturday, March 26
Theft: Redmond police took a theft report at 12:01 a.m. in the 17500 block of Northeast 67th Court. A resident noticed one of his license plates had been stolen from his vehicle.
Friday, March 25
Assault: Redmond police took an assault report at 5:23 a.m. in the 16000 block of Redmond Way. Officers arrested an adult male for trespassing when employees reported a man was inside the store yelling at them, demanding to use their microwave. The man then became physical with officers and was detained.
Thursday, March 24
Shoplifting: Redmond police arrested a male suspect for shoplifting at 2:15 p.m. in the 17600 block of Union Hill Road.
Wednesday, March 23
Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle at 11:51 a.m. in the 4800 block of 156th Avenue Northeast. The complainant reported that his vehicle was prowled in an apartment complex when he found the door and trunk open. There was no sign of forced entry.
Fraud: Redmond police took a fraud report at 11:24 a.m. in the 13300 block of Northeast 117th Way. The complainant reported a possible fraud attempt when they received a call from someone purporting to be with the IRS and requesting $8,900 payment for fines, and giving fictitious badge and case numbers.
