Male and female get upset, throw cards at each other during game | Police Blotter for Jan. 11-17

Tuesday, Jan. 17

Burglary: Redmond police took a residential-burglary report at 6:54 p.m. in the 8900 block of 160th Avenue Northeast. Someone pried open an apartment door and stole a television and bank cards.

Monday, Jan. 16

Shoplifting: Redmond police took a shoplifting report at 6:29 p.m. in the 15700 block of Redmond Way. A male stole a can of compressed air for huffing and was detained. The store declined to prosecute and the man was released.

Sunday, Jan. 15

Shoplifting: Redmond police took a shoplifting report at 1:39 p.m. in the 17600 block of Union Hill Road. Officers arrested an adult male and one teenage male. Both were found with stolen property on them, as well as drug paraphernalia and uncapped syringes.

Saturday, Jan. 14

Found it: Redmond police recovered a stolen vehicle at 2:38 p.m. in the 15000 block of Northeast 24th Street. Officers found an unoccupied vehicle in the Overlake Safeway parking lot that had been stolen out of Kent.

Friday, Jan. 13

Assault: Redmond police took an assault report at 10:24 p.m. in the 15200 block of Northeast 40th Street. Officers were called to a card game at a local company common area when a male and female player got upset and began throwing cards at each other. There were no injuries.

Thursday, Jan, 12

Fraud: Redmond police took a fraud report at 1:19 p.m. in the 17600 block of Northeast 76th Street. A car-prowl victim in Bellevue reported that his stolen bank card was being used at the Redmond Fred Meyer.

Wednesday, Jan. 11

Trespassing: Redmond police took a trespassing report at 3:10 p.m. in the 8800 block of 161st Avenue Northeast. Officers trespassed a male from the Bella Bottega complex at the request of the property owner for repeated theft and other issues.
