The final event of Redmond Town Center’s (RTC) denim drive, “Love Your Genes,” will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 11 in RTC’s Center Street Plaza at 2 p.m.
The event, at which jeans will be collected and donated to local non-profit organizations, will feature a denim fashion show, advice from denim fit experts and one-on-one fit consultations with participating retailers.
The event’s title focuses on the premise that no two bodies are alike.
“Women have long been undergoing the daunting task of finding a great pair of jeans, often blaming their ‘genes’ for an awkward fit,” said Christina Henning, Senior Manager of Marketing for RTC. “We’re encouraging women to love their bodies for what they are and giving them the opportunity to find the right fit.”
Love Your Genes is free and open to the public with a suggested donation of one or more pairs of jeans in any condition.
Refreshments will be provided and each attendee will receive a special gift courtesy of RTC.
