Car prowl: Redmond police responded to a car prowl at a bar in the 7800 block of Leary Way. There is no suspect information.
Graffiti: Redmond police responded to a business display that was tagged with graffiti in the 7300 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway.
Shattered window: The right rear window of an eastbound vehicle was shattered by an unknown object on Northeast 116th Street near Avondale Road.
Tuesday, May 25
Reckless burning: Witnesses heard a loud explosion and observed flames at the rear of a church parking lot in the 9900 block of Willows Road. There is no suspect information.
Phone threats: A resident in the 6300 block of 137th Avenue Northeast reported phone threats made by a friend. Suspect information was incomplete.
Smash and grab: An unknown suspect smashed out the window of a car parked in the 7900 block of 178th Place Northeast. A laptop computer and other items were stolen.
Monday, May 24
Warrant arrest: A man was arrested for a prior warrant and drug paraphernalia in the 5100 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.
DUI: An adult male was arrested for DUI on westbound State Route 520 at 148th Avenue Northeast.
Shoplifting: Redmond police are investigating a shoplifting report at a store in the 17200 block of Redmond Way.
Threats: A man in the Education Hill neighborhood reported that his adult son refuses to allow him back into his home and will kill him if he shows up with police.
Stalking: A suspect has been taking photos of a victim at her workplace and making unwanted contact with her in the 3600 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway.
Sunday, May 23
Car prowl: Redmond police investigated a car prowl in the 2200 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway. There is no suspect information.
Bag snatcher: An unknown suspect smashed a front passenger window of a car parked in the 15900 block of Redmond Way and stole a shoulder bag.
Theft: Police responded to a report of a theft from Gold’s Gym, in the 7900 block of 178th Place Northeast. The item was recovered one day later on the ground in the parking lot of the Bear Creek Park and Ride. The serial number of the item had been filed off.
Saturday, May 22
Turn it down: Redmond police arrested a resident in the 8600 block of 169th Court Northeast for a public disturbance, too much noise at a party.
Drugs: Suspects stopped for a traffic violation on Union Hill Road and 179th Avenue Northeast were found to be in possession of marijuana.
Domestic disturbance: Police responded to a report of a verbal domestic disturbance in progress in the 8600 block of 164th Avenue Northeast. The suspect kicked in the front door and left on foot. He was detained by Bellevue Police, then arrested and booked.
Harassment: A victim in the 15200 block of Northeast 40th Street said he received a threatening note from an incarcerated subject.
Friday, May 21
Felony vandalism: A resident’s sliding glass door was struck by a possible BB or pellet gun. A search of the area, in the 15200 block of Northeast 82nd Street, did not reveal any suspects.
Cute shoes: Redmond police arrested an adult female for shoplifting shoes from a department store in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.
Thursday, May 20
Car prowl: Redmond police responded to a car prowl at a restaurant in the 3000 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.
Shoplifting: An adult male shoplifted multiple items from a grocery store in the 17900 block of Redmond Way.
Power hungry: Unknown suspects cut a hole in a chain link fence and removed several power tools from the storage area of a business in the 17900 block of Redmond Way.
