The Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center will be fully relocating to their new state-of-the-art facility, Dunmire Stables in Redmond, in early 2013.

Officials for the organization, which provides equine-assisted therapy for individuals with disabilities, announced that they have completed the sale of their Woodinville location.

“The greatest challenge we have faced over the years has been our inability to serve more individuals in need, as we’ve been operating at full capacity,” said Kathy Alm, executive director. “With the new facility, we can finally start carving away at our two-year waiting list of more than 200 individuals who have been waiting for these much-needed services.”

Little Bit’s mission is to improve the minds, bodies and spirits of children and adults with disabilities through equine-assisted therapy, and to be an educational resource and inspiration to the therapeutic riding industry, both regionally and nationally.

Little Bit has longtime support from notable local partners and individuals such as Willows Lodge, John and Kelly Olerud, GLY Construction and the Redmond Rotary.

“If you’ve never experienced an individual with disabilities doing things deemed impossible, we invite you to visit us at Dunmire Stables in Redmond,” said Sally Gregg, co-board president for Little Bit. “I can personally promise you an experience that will educate you, surprise you and profoundly change your life as we continue working towards changing the lives of many new individuals at the new facility.”
