Becky Mueller snaps a picture of the lavender at Dr. Maze’s Farm in Redmond last Saturday during the first ever Celebration of Lavender and Art in the Sammamish Valley, which took place in four locations between Woodinville and Redmond on Saturday and Sunday.

Dr. Maze’s Farm in Redmond featured lavender picking, crafts, classes, demonstrations and more.

Woodinville Lavender’s farm and store featured a Master Gardener lavender talk and cooking demonstration.

Minea Farm store in Redmond featured a variety of different apple ciders, including a fresh pressed lavender apple cider.

There are also extensive lavender and perennial gardens that surround three renovated Woodinville homes at Apple Farm Village.
