Key Bank robbed Friday, Redmond police still searching for suspect

Key Bank in the 15100 block of Northeast 24th Street in Redmond was robbed at about 5:50 p.m. on Friday.

The suspect handed a teller a note demanding money and implying he had a gun, yet never displayed a weapon. He left on foot with an undetermined amount of cash. According to a press release issued by the Redmond Police Department (RPD), he likely went to an unknown vehicle and headed south on 148th Avenue Northeast. There were no injuries and there was a possible accomplice waiting outside the bank for him.

The suspect is described as a white male about 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall and about 165 pounds. He was wearing a dark vest with a light t-shirt underneath, sunglasses, black cargo pants and a golf hat.
