On Nov. 9, 2009 the applicant for the Idylwood Innovative Housing proposal requested that the City of Redmond postpone the meeting of the Innovative Housing Review Panel which was scheduled for Nov. 18, 2009, to instead be held in early 2010.
By requesting postponement, the applicant for a proposed innovative housing demonstration project, at 17259 NE 36th St., elects to waive his right to have the meeting convened within the required timeframe as defined by the Innovative Housing ordinance.
According to a notice from the City of Redmond, the applicant has requested postponement in order to provide additional time to meet with his development team to further evaluate the proposed Innovative Housing project as well as to explore other possible development options.
Currently, the proposed project consists of seven detached homes, along with two accessory dwelling units over garages. Parking for 18 cars is provided on site, including 10 in garages and eight as surface stalls.
A new date for the Review Panel meeting has not been selected. City staff will provide notice of any future meeting of the Innovative Housing Review Panel three weeks prior to the meeting date. If you have any questions, please contact Sarah Stiteler, AICP, Senior Planner at sstiteler@redmond.gov, or 425-556-2469.
