Tip-A-Cop for a good cause

Have you tipped a cop lately?

Residents will get their chance on Thursday, April 24 from 4-9 p.m., when Redmond Police officers will volunteer their time as “celebrity waiters” as part of the Tip-A-Cop fundraising efforts at the Claim Jumper Restaurant at the Redmond Town Center.

The money raised will benefit Special Olympics.

The event will include giveaways for youngsters. In addition, K-9 units, mobile command centers and DARE vehicles will be on hand.
