The Goddard School, located at 10611 Redmond Ridge Drive N.E., recently kicked off its summer-camp sports week with a visit from Blitz, the Seattle Seahawks’ mascot.

The theme week consists of sports-related activities that focus on playing familiar games, learning new ones, developing a sense of sportsmanship and working on enhancing gross motor skills. For example, preschoolers were asked to compare differences among various sports by measuring bounces between different balls used.

“We are thrilled to have had Blitz come join us for some summer camp learning,” says Shauna Barison, on-site owner of The Goddard School located in Redmond.
