With masks being state mandated from apartment lobbies to the playground to the office, everyone’s going to need one.
Luckily, free face coverings are being distributed in Bellevue, tomorrow, Aug. 4, at a drive-thru event. The distribution event is from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, at Eastgate Assessment and Recovery site, 13620 SE Eastgate Way Bellevue, 98005.
The event is for King County residents only— folks can get two masks for each household member, up to six members, or 12 masks, per vehicle.
The drive-thru will include designated exit and enter spots on Southeast Eastgate Way.
This is the third King County mask distribution event so far, part of 25 million masks purchased by the county to help slow the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. Face coverings should be worn in indoor public spaces and outdoors when six-feet distances can’t be maintained. Face coverings can help reduce transmission of the virus, along with hand washing and social distancing.
