“Forever Plaid” opens tonight at SecondStory Repertory at 16587 N.E. 74th St. in Redmond Town Center.

The show will run through July 1 with performances Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. There will be Sunday performances on June 17 and 24 and July 1 at 2 p.m.

“Forever Plaid” was written by Stuart Ross, with musical arrangements by James Raitt.

The musical follows the Plaids — Sparky, Jinx, Smudge and Frankie — four young men who were killed in a car crash in the 1950s on the way to see the Beatles perform on “The Ed Sullivan Show.” The Plaids are revived and given a posthumous chance to fulfill their dreams and perform the show that never was.

The show will star Brad Walker, Brandt Sterling, Isaiah Crowson and Andrew Murray. Crystal Dawn Munkers will direct the show with musical direction by Paul Linnes.
