Redmond’s EndBrainCancer Initiative will be having a golf tournament fundraiser July 31 at The Plateau Club in Sammamish.
Registration for the event starts at 9 a.m. and shotgun starts at 11 a.m. for the 16th annual golf tournament.
The course offers an 18-hole championship golf course.
The Initiative was founded to facilitate access to advanced treatment options and specialists to people suffering from brain tumors.
The Initiative, formerly known as the Chris Elliott Fund, is a national brain cancer and tumor patient advocacy organization with offices in Redmond. It was established in 2002.
The Initiative also advocates the use of genomic DNA testing and the use of a DNA repair protein to fight cancer and collaborates with medical, bio-tech and pharmaceutical institutions as well as research communities and diagnostic device providers.
