A community meeting to discuss recent police activities in the Education Hill area will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18 at the Redmond Junior High School Commons, 10055 166th Ave. NE.
“As you may have heard, there have been a high number of car prowls and residential burglaries in the Education Hill area over the last month,” said Redmond Police spokesperson Jim Bove.
“While the number of crimes is not out of the ordinary — in fact, most crimes, if not all, are down from last year — we realize this is alarming to those who have experienced it. As always, we want to educate you on how to stay safe, how to avoid these crimes, how you can help the Redmond Police Department, and to answer your questions.”
The meeting is intended for those who live, work or park in the Education Hill neighborhood. There is no need to RSVP.
