Wednesday, April 28
Shoplifting: An unknown female took a sweater without purchasing it, from a store in the 16400 block of Northeast 74th Street.
ATM fraud: A Redmond resident’s credit card was used fraudulently in the 14200 block of Northeast 66th Street.
Tuesday, April 27
Shoplifting: A 46-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting from a store in the 8800 block of 161st Avenue Northeast at around 2:45 a.m.
Theft: A security camera and an outdoor light were stolen from a shed in the 10600 block of Avondale Road.
Use your own dumpster: The maintenance manager at an apartment complex in the 17300 block of Northeast 85th Place observed some non-tenants using the complex’s garbage facilities.
Monday, April 26
Fraud: A resident who lives in the 16100 block of Northeast 83rd Street reported that someone stole $500 from an ATM using his account number.
Sunday, April 25
Theft: Someone stole a GPS unit from a vehicle parked in a parking garage in the 15800 block of Bear Creek Parkway at around 2 p.m.
Car prowl: A man who lives in the 7000 block of Old Redmond Road reported that someone smashed the window of his parked vehicle and stole his car stereo and other miscellaneous items at around 10:30 a.m.
Vehicle theft: A vehicle was stolen from a residential complex in the 6800 block of 139th Avenue Northeast.
Saturday, April 24
DUI: Redmond Police arrested a 37-year-old Sammamish man for investigation of DUI in the 18300 block of Redmond Way right before midnight.
Costco card bandit: Someone entered an unlocked vehicle in the 17200 block of Northeast 117th Way and stole a Costco Card at around 5 p.m.
Thefts: Redmond Police investigated the theft of a purse at a retirement home in the 9900 block of Avondale Road at around 2 p.m. About an hour earlier, there was another report of a theft at the same retirement home.
Car prowl: A wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 17000 block of Northeast 110th Way and a debit card in the wallet was later fraudulently used at several locations.
Vandalism: Redmond Police arrested a 28-year-old man vandalizing a grocery store in the 8800 block of 161st Avenue Northeast at around 3:30 a.m.
Friday, April 23
Car prowl: Computer equipment and personal checks were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 7800 block of Leary Way at around 8:30 p.m.
Forgery: A man who lives in the 8700 block of 160th Avenue Northeast reported that his ex-wife forged his name as a co-signer to her student loan from Wells Fargo. The incident took place seven years ago, but the man just found out about it.
Thursday, April 22
Stereo stolen: A $4,000 stereo was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 4800 block of 156th Avenue Northeast.
Suspicious circumstances: A family member reported suspicious bruising on an elderly Alzheimer’s patient who lives in the 7400 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway. The investigation is ongoing.
