According to a Seattle P-I article, James Fogle, whose book “Drugstore Cowboy” told the story of drug users who robbed pharmacies to feed their addiction, was sentenced to 16 years in prison on Friday following a King County Superior Court hearing.

Last May 25, Fogle and an accomplice were caught by Redmond police trying to steal drugs from the Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy on Redmond Way, minutes after the store’s 9 p.m. closing.
