Charles Hitz, an identity theft specialist with Legalshield, will be presenting a seminar on how to “Protect Your Identity” from 7-9 p.m. Jan. 29 at the Kingsgate Library located at 12315 N.E. 143rd St. in Kirkland.

This seminar will encourage people to make identity protection part of their regular routine and reduce their risk of identity theft happening to themselves, to their families and to businesses.

“Knowing how to protect your personal information can reduce the risk of identity theft,” said Hitz. “I want to help everyone learn how to safeguard their information, spot potential signs of trouble early, and minimize the damage identity theft can cause.”
