Raymond Yan, senior executive of DigiPen Institute of Technology, will be speaking at OneRedmond’s monthly Investor Luncheon on Feb. 20.

The luncheon will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Matts’ Rotisserie & Oyster Lounge, 16551 N.E. 74th St. in Redmond Town Center.

Attendees will learn about the history of DigPen and where the school is today both locally and overseas. Yan will discuss education programs the school offers and the impact DigiPen has had on students ranging from kindergarten to post-secondary school. He will also discuss DigiPen’s research and development work with other organizations, problems the industry may face in the future and how students have had an effect on the growth of the gaming industry in the greater-Seattle area.

The luncheon is $30 for members and investors and $40 for prospective investors. Pre-registration is required due to limited space and restaurant accommodations. Attendees area also asked to specify if they have any food allergies or dietary restrictions. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will not be reimbursed.
