Majdi Daher, CEO and founder of Redmond-based Denali Advanced Integration, has been named on the 2014 CRN Top 100 list.

CRN’s annual Top 100 list salutes the key players in the information technology industry who continue to shape how people in the field do business.

The 100 leaders, handpicked by the CRN editorial staff, represent the top 25 leaders in the following categories in the information technology channel: influencers, sales leaders, innovators and disrupters.

Daher was named No. 20 on the top 25 disrupters list. Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos was named No. 1 on the disrupters list, featuring leaders who incorporate new technologies and are successful at it.

“I was very humbled and surprised,” Daher told the Reporter about learning about the honor.

He added that being named on the list was unexpected and he did not know anything about it until CRN contacted Denali’s marketing department to get a quote from him.

“It was a very pleasant surprise,” Daher said.

The CRN Top 100 list is based on feedback gathered from technology-solution providers throughout the year by CRN editors, with rankings reflecting each company’s channel influence, effectiveness and visibility, along with its business and sales impact on the information technology channel. Among the criteria considered are channel sales volume, channel investment and resources, channel advocacy and performance in research projects conducted by The Channel Company’s CRN Intelligence research arm, including its Annual Report Card and Channel Champions reports.

“The CRN Top 100 list is the ‘Who’s Who’ of the IT channel,” Robert Faletra, CEO of The Channel Company, which owns CRN, said in a press release. “Each individual on this list has left an indelible stamp on the IT channel this year. Some are industry veterans with innovative leadership styles. Others are rising stars who have demonstrated a deep commitment to the channel. All deserve recognition for helping push the channel forward toward new market opportunities.”

While he was the one to be named to the list, Daher said he wouldn’t be on the list if it weren’t for the rest of the Denali team, saying, “it takes a village to get something done.”

“I’m very honored and humbled to be named as one of CRN’s top 100 executives. I’m fortunate to work with the best and brightest people in the (information technology) business. Continuous change is the constant in the system integrator world and it’s our commitment to our customers, employees and technology partners to be ahead of the trend,” he said in a press release. “Our business livelihood depends on our deep understanding of how new and mature technologies can help our customers support their business through technology. This is why we continue to push and leverage new technologies to integrate, augment or replace mature technologies so our customers continue to be ahead of their business needs.”

Daher added that the list helps to validate what they are doing at Denali.

The company has more than 500 employees with more than 250 certified engineers. Denali offers sales and technical resources to help customers gain control of their technology acquisition cycle.
