On Tuesday night, Redmond City Council unanimously passed a resolution affirming the city’s encouragement of the siting of Dick’s Drive-In’s seventh restaurant in Redmond.
The resolution affirms the city’s interest in continuing Dick Spady’s efforts of investing in the community. Redmond would embrace his legacy of offering a classic and affordable drive-in restaurant that serves as a destination for gatherings and celebrations for all members of the community.
“It would be an honor for the City of Redmond to serve as the home of the seventh Dick’s Drive-In, which would be a welcome addition to the thriving urban centers of our community,” stated Council President Hank Margeson. “Help us encourage Dick’s Drive-In to locate their first Eastside location in Redmond by voting online by March 24.”
Dick’s Drive-In is currently asking community members to vote online to help determine if the seventh Dick’s Drive-In location will be built on the Eastside or in the south end of Puget Sound.
