A Bellevue School District teacher was arrested at his home May 14 on charges of child molestation, rape and exploitation.

Charges were filed May 15 in King County Superior Court against Stuart MacGregor Hoffman, a 28-year-old teacher at a Bellevue School District high school. The document alleges Hoffman committed two counts of first-degree child rape, two counts of first-degree child molestation, and dealing and possessing depictions of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct. Hoffman was arrested by Homeland Security Investigations and the investigation is ongoing.

A press release from the agency said Hoffman is expected to face both local and federal charges. Prosecutors asked that bail be set at $1 million.
