Bear Creek School to host fifth annual ‘Parenting Your Child for Success’ seminar

Parents can get the information they need to help their children develop the qualities needed for success in school and life by attending a free seminar from 9 a.m. to noon on Nov. 3 at The Bear Creek School, 8905 208th Ave. N.E., Redmond. The "Parenting Your Child for Success" seminar is open to the public. During each of the three break-out sessions, participants attend the topic that is most relevant or interesting to them.

Parents can get the information they need to help their children develop the qualities needed for success in school and life by attending a free seminar from 9 a.m. to noon on Nov. 3 at The Bear Creek School, 8905 208th Ave. N.E., Redmond. The “Parenting Your Child for Success” seminar is open to the public. During each of the three break-out sessions, participants attend the topic that is most relevant or interesting to them.

Local teachers and education experts will provide instruction, and the seminar is ideal for parents with children in preschool through sixth grade, educators, Sunday school teachers and anyone interested in the success of children.

“We want to give parents ideas and skills they can use to help their children develop independence and responsibility. We care about kids and want to be a valuable education resource to our community,” saidKaren Blankenbeckler, vice president for academic affairs at The Bear Creek School.
