31 Redmond-area LWSD students named National Merit finalists

Thirty-nine Lake Washington School District (LWSD) students have been selected as finalists in the National Merit Scholarship Competition — including 31 from Redmond or Redmond-area schools.

Thirty-nine Lake Washington School District (LWSD) students have been selected as finalists in the National Merit Scholarship Competition — including 31 from Redmond or Redmond-area schools.

As finalists, these students are now qualified to receive National Merit Scholarships, including $2,500 awards, corporate-sponsored scholarships or college-sponsored scholarships. About 15,000 students nationally have been named finalists in this competition.

The following Redmond-area students have advanced to finalist status in the National Merit Scholarship Program:

Redmond High School
Phillip Dietz, Gil Guday, Jessie Liu, Steven Liu, Eugene Moon, Aditya Murali, Priya Nakkiran, Anuraag Polisetty, Dagny Safon, Mayukha Vadari, Kyungyoon Yoo, Chaeyoung Yoon and Aaron Zhang.
