About 3,000 customers in Redmond lost power Friday afternoon. As of Saturday, Redmond is no longer on the Puget Sound Energy (PSE) outage list.
According to the PSE outage list, the outage was first reported around 4:20 p.m. The site initially listed the estimated restoration time as 6:30 p.m. but when it was updated just after 6 p.m., the estimated times in different areas around town were pushed back to 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
The cause of the outage is listed on the PSE site as under investigation.
According to a PSE map, the power outages are concentrated in the North Redmond, Education Hill and Downtown neighborhoods.
