13 Redmond High students selected as finalists in National Merit Scholarship Competition

Twenty Lake Washington School District (LWSD) students have been selected as finalists in the National Merit Scholarship Competition, including 13 from Redmond High School (RHS).

Twenty Lake Washington School District (LWSD) students have been selected as finalists in the National Merit Scholarship Competition, including 13 from Redmond High School (RHS).

As finalists, these students are now qualified to receive National Merit Scholarships, including $2,500 awards, corporate-sponsored scholarships or college-sponsored scholarships.

About 15,000 students nationally have been named finalists in this competition.

The following RHS students have advanced to finalist status in the National Merit Scholarship Program: Maya Balakrishnan, Tara Balakrishnan, Rebecca Ballantyne, Michael Gilroy, Benjamin Keller, Jihoon Lee, Nolan Miller, Ananya Murali, Preetum Nakkiran, Kevin Parker, Dhaaruni Sreenivas, Sophia Xu and Edward Zhang.
