SecondStory Repertory (SSR), located upstairs at Redmond Town Center, continues its 11th season of children’s theatre with a musical adaptation of “Goldilocks and the Three Bears,” written by SSR founder Stan Gill with music by Jeffrey Payne. The show runs March 12-28 with public performances at 7 p.m. on Fridays and at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. All tickets are $9.
“Goldilocks” is a family-friendly musical running 45 minutes with no intermission. The show is recommended for school-aged children over the age of four. Performances for families with children under the age of four will be held on Sunday, March 14 and Sunday, March 21 at 1 p.m.
“Goldilocks and the Three Bears” is directed by Danny Miller with music direction by Kevin Miller.
The cast features Kaija Stern as Goldilocks and Robert Bogue, Stephanie McBain and newcomer Jennifer Buckley as the three bears.
SSR favorite Mark Waldstein and teen performer Laura McFarlane are also featured.
The show is stage-managed by Kristin Calhoun, with set design by Anne Fiser and Tellier Killaby-Booth, lights by Amanda Nitzsche and costumes by Laurie Roberts.
