Redmond’s Digital Double to offer summer teen programs

Digital Double, a state-of-the-art motion capture and 3D graphics studio, has partnered with the City of Redmond's Old Fire House Teen Center to offer summer immersion programs about digital animation techniques.

Digital Double, a state-of-the-art motion capture and 3D graphics studio, has partnered with the City of Redmond’s Old Fire House Teen Center to offer summer immersion programs about digital animation techniques.

Each program runs Monday-Friday for a total of 20 hours at Digital Double, 15814 Bear Creek Parkway, Redmond.

The curriculum begins with foundational art training and basic principles of animation. Students will then create a 3D character and use motion capture technology to bring it to life.

All instructors are working professionals.

There will be morning and afternoon programs for two different age groups, ages 9-13 and 14-19.
