Redmond Presbyterian Church (RPC) is inviting members of the community to celebrate the sounds of the season with its Songfest and Children’s Christmas Service.
The service will take place at 10 a.m. on Dec. 18, at RPC (10020 166th Ave. N.E. in Redmond).
RPC’s children and youth will provide music for the service, led by Andrew Smith. Pastor Larry Grounds will lead worship. An open house will follow the single service in the Upper Room of the adjoining Christian Education Building.
“The RPC children’s band and choir have been working very hard this fall to prepare for Songfest,” said Smith. “They are very excited to perform traditional Christmas music and help lead worship on this fourth Sunday of Advent.”
The program will include “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing,” “O Come All Ye Faithful,” “It Came Upon A Midnight Clear,” “O Little Town of Bethlehem,” “This Christmastide” and “Silent Night.”
There is no charge to attend. All are welcome.
