Lisa Dupar Catering Kitchen, 18005 NE 68th St., Suite A-150 in Redmond, hosts a beer and food pairing class with samples and recipes from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1.
Featured along with Lisa Dupar will be Pomegranate Chef Seth Hammond and Redmond’s Malt and Vine shop owner Lizzie Myers.
They’ll explain the range of flavors offered by beers and will pair five different dishes with appropriate beer choices.
Recipes will include Crispy Calamari and Artichokes with Lemon Caper Aioli; Mini Chili Verde Pork Nachos; Braised Beef Sliders on Blue Cheese Biscuits; Spicy Thai Shrimp on Sugarcane Satays; and Whisky Carmel Storm King Floats.
